Synopsis

Through hard work and the graduation exams, [The Graduation] portrays our relationship to excellence in La Fémis, one of the most prestigious art schools in France.

Director

Claire SIMON is a French scriptwriter, actress, cinematographer, editor and director born in 1955. Starting with independent shorts, she then discovered the practice of 'direct cinema' with the Ateliers Varan and has made several documentaries. Her first fiction feature-length film, [Sinon, oui] (1997) and the second, [Ça brûle] (2006), were both presented at the Directors' Fortnight in Cannes. For more than two decades, Simon has been trying to capture the essence of reality.
