Synopsis

[Ripples Apart] is the story of windsurfer Chang Hao and his Australian coach, Alex Mowday two athletes separated by years of age and very different cultures, but who share the same Olympic dream. The road to the Olympics is long and difficult. Alex and Chang Hao must beat all the odds to qualify, battling the wind and waves and searching for perfection in the sport of their dreams.

Director

HU Mei-fang and Mark FORD have collaborated on a number of projects since their first film, [Run Away Home], in 2000. Ford was born in the United States, Hu in Taiwan. Hu works in documentary, television commercials and was a professor of film production for ten years at Chaoyang University.
