Synopsis

A disillusioned architect rediscovers Pop Aye, the elephant from his childhood, in the streets of Bangkok. Together they set off on a journey to the village where they grew up. Occasionally funny, occasionally moving road movie about two uprooted souls who meet the most colourful figures on their journey home.

Director

Kirsten TAN is a writer and director with a penchant for visual storytelling and off-beat humour. Her most recent feature screenplay, [Pop Aye], is one of ten international projects selected to participate in Berlinale Talent’s Script Station 2014. It was also invited to participate in Torino Film Lab’s Framework Programme.
