Roman returns to the land near the border with Ukraine he has just inherited from his grandfather. Fully decided to sell this vast but desolate property, he is warned by the local cop that his grandfather was a local crime lord and his men will not let go of the land - and their smuggling business - without a fight.


Bogdan MIRICǍ was a publisher, advertising writer and novelist. After graduating from Westminster University in London, where he majored in screenwriting, he went back to Romania and worked as a screenwriter. In 2011, he wrote and directed his first short film, [Bora Bora]. In 2014, his feature film project [Dogs] was selected for the Cannes Ciné Fondation Workshop. The same year, he won a grant from the Gan Foundation for Film. [Dogs] was screened in the Un Certain Regard at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.
